So each letter has a basic black and white image. Which relates to the letter, such as Aa is for apple ? allowing your child to begin letter recognition. Plus being a black and white image it’s prefect for them to colour in and for you to discuss so many areas, from what the image is? Maybe what is does? What colours will they choose and why?
You can sound out and assist your child with hearing each letter. Why not take one letter a day or week and practice. Can you think of other items that begin with the same letter?
Furthermore there is a practice space on each worksheet for your amazing little learner to practice pen control and letter formation. So for instance each letter features 3 times in uppercase and 3 times in lowercase, in our primary school approved dotted font.
The plastic holder easily opens up should you wish to work on individual letters. Or why not use them as spelling aids, asking your child to find the letters to spell a name or word (duplicates of letters can be ordered upon requesting via our comments box especially if your child’s name contains more than one of the same letter).
